Second Chance Dog Rescue

River was saved in Bosnia when he was found abandoned. We never realised he was injured until we saved him. Sadly his leg couldn't be saved and it was amputated.

River has waited a while before being able to travel. His first amputation sadly didn't heal well and he kept opening the wound. Once it finally healed he was bearing weight on his stump which was causing issues so he underwent a second operation to amputate higher up. Luckily this was successful and he is now ready to find his forever home.

River is a really gorgeous friendly boy and has a lovely temperament. He is social with other dogs and used to being around dogs in the shelter. He is goofy, clumsy, excitable and defiantly lives life to the full. He has lots of energy and is such a happy boy despite all he has been through.

River loves his walks and walks well in a lead. He also loves cuddles and can jump up when excited.

River loves human company and gives such amazing cuddles; he has a really loving temperament and just deserves a lovely home and family of his own.

Being a Samoyed he will need regular brushing, it's very difficult to keep all his floof gorgeous on the shelter environment.

Being a tri paw doesn't slow River down. He manages really well on 3 paws.

River has a lovely temperament and he would suit a family who have time to spend with him and take him on amazing adventures. He loves being outside so would love a nice garden too. He would make such a lovely family addition or companion for someone.

River is ready to travel to the UK and will be coming to the UK at the end of August.
