Dottie (formerly Mulan) was rescued as a lone, young puppy from the streets of Bosnia. When she was old enough she travelled to the UK to what was meant to be her forever home.

Sadly, due to rising tensions between Dottie and their other dog, her family have made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to find her a more suitable environment, where she can truly thrive.

Dottie is a clever, affectionate girl who loves people, playing with her toys, and curling up on the sofa with her humans.

Dottie has done amazingly well with learning cue words and has even mastered fun tricks like 'play dead'!

Dottie enjoys routine and quickly picks up household cues and training, she knows when it is walk time, meal time, and will run to her crate for bedtime to wait patiently for her biscuit. She is currently working on gentle muzzle training at her pace.

Dottie can get anxious around other dogs on walks and when she feels scared, she has made encouraging progress and with ongoing training and the right support, we believe Dottie has great potential to continue improving.

Dottie enjoys engaging activities like agility, puzzle toys, and learning new tasks, she is highly food-motivated, and loves sausage and cheese, which can be especially helpful in stressful moments like vet visits or crate time.

Dottie would like to be the only pet in a calm and consistent home where she can feel safe and secure. She has a strong prey drive and has only been off-lead in secure areas. She does not like wearing a harness or being touched on her back, she has been vet checked and no physical cause has been found. Dottie is up to date with her vaccinations, flea, tick, and worming treatment.

Dottie would make a loving and loyal companion for someone with the time, patience, and understanding to continue her journey. She is a people-focused dog who will return your care with lots of love, fun, and cuddles.
