Dylan was saved from the streets of Romania with a dislocated leg, very weak and full of fleas. Dylan was treated by the vet for the dislocation before his rescuer took him home to care for him. His leg grew and developed normally, and he made a full recovery. Dylan was so happy to be saved and fitted into life with the other doggies amazingly well in his rescuer's home. He loved playing with all the other dogs and became a happy, playful dog.
Dylan travelled to the UK and was adopted, but unfortunately, things have proved to be difficult for him being an only dog in a busy family environment with children. After trying many things with advice and support from the rescue to try and help Dylan settle, feel happier and more comfortable we all agree that Dylan needs to find a quieter, adult only home with another dog or dogs. Dylan's family are devastated to be making this decision and if it wasn't for the busy lifestyle that comes with having children, he wouldn't be going anywhere but this is a decision made in Dylan's best interest.
Dylan is at his happiest running around off lead in the fields, woods, or beach. He is a clever boy and has pretty good recall. Dylan has a group of doggie friends who he loves playing with. He absolutely loves other dogs and wants to say hello to every dog he sees. Dylan is fine with people out on walks but can be fearful of noisy children running around.
Dylan is still a young dog at just 2 years old. He is full of beans and loves to play. He also loves bum and tum scratches and has the silkiest velvety ears! Dylan's mum works from home and Dylan is happy to chill all day while she works but he can be fearful of strangers coming into the house, especially men, and will need his own safe space so that he can feel safe and protected when new visitors come.
Dylan is a happy, healthy boy. He enjoys a raw diet and is up to date with all of his vaccinations.
He would love to find a quieter, adult only home where he can enjoy long walks and lots of play with a well matched other dog for companionship and to develop a good bond with.
