Eden is one of our UK born and raised rescues. She is a stunning black and white Saluki cross with the most beautiful face.Eden currently lives with her family, mum and 21 year old son who Eden loves, and an 11 year old male Chihuahua. The dogs get on well most of the time by, due to the age gap, Eden does have a lot more energy and wants to play more than her companion Yogi and he can get a bit fed up with her at times.

Eden loves her walks both on and off lead and walks well on a standard lead set up. She also enjoys regular meets and group play with other dogs. She can be a little unsure when meeting new dogs but is fine when she knows them.

Eden would love to find a home with another well matched young dog to play with, build her confidence, and develop a good bond with. Eden is a very clever girl, she is eager to learn and learns very quickly. She responds well to positive reward training and has excelled at her training. Eden has completed the kennel club bronze award and knows the following cue words: Sit, Down, Come (indoors), Come (in garden), Come (in park), Give/Drop, Paw, Place/Bed, Wait. Some of these commands were demonstrated during her assessment. Eden will also ring a bell on the floor for a treat!

Eden is fully house trained and has been used to using a crate in the past although not currently using one.Eden is great with all kinds of handling such as grooming, routine vet trips, fuss, affection and cuddles. Eden is a happy, healthy girl with a good appetite. She is fine being left home alone for a few hours. Eden is friendly and happy to meet visitors. She is excited to go in the car and travels well. She is not phased by loud noises, she will even go to the garden to go to the toilet while fireworks are going off!

Our assessor said that Eden is a very beautiful, intelligent dog. Eden would love to find an active family who she could enjoy plenty of fun and adventures with.
