Ernie was found tied up and left for dead in a ditch in Romania and saved by his amazing rescuer Dutssa who he instantly trusted despite all he had been through. After lots of TLC from Dutssa Ernie made his way to the UK to join his foster mum.
This lovely boy is a typical goofy, playful, bouncy young boy who has a real love for life. Ernie is a really affectionate boy who loves a cuddle and will ask for strokes.
He is a really clever boy who is eager to learn, he LOVES his food!
Ernie is crate trained, house trained, and is happy to be left for a few hours. He is a little nervous of cars going past when walking on the pavement, which is completely understandable after all he’s been through.
Ernie is generally great with other dogs on walks, but can be a bit much for some as he is very playful. He is currently in foster with 3 other dogs and he would love another playful dog in his forever home for company.
Ernie is an active boy, and needs an active family who can take him on lots of lovely adventures. His foster mum runs with him every morning for an hour which he loves! Ernie is strong, and will need a confident owner.
