OTHER INFO: Katinka and Timmy are currently living together in the Blackpool area. They are a bonded pair and would love to find a home together if possible.
Otherwise, Katinka would need the company and companionship of a well matched dog in her new home.
Katinka was rescued in Romania and travelled to the UK unfortunately without rescue back up so we have agreed to take her into the Second Chance Family and find her a forever home.
Katinka was rescued as a puppy in Romania. She lived with cats in rescue but is not currently living with cats now.
Katinka and Timmy adore each other. They love to play together, run and chase each other. They love to play in the garden together throughout the day and go regularly to the local secure field which they really enjoy. Katinka enjoys going for a walk but she is more confident walking with another dog.
Katinka loves her antler chew and has a snowman toy that she likes to play with. She enjoys a snuffle mat as her favourite enrichment activity.
Katinka is food driven and responds well to positive reward training. Katinka is doing really well learning cue words. She knows Sit, Down, Come (indoors) Wait, Bed/Place and she is also doing really well with recall. (As with any dog this will need to be established along with your bond in a new home)
Katinka is house trained and will alert to go at the door by circling, she will go straight out to the toilet after eating. Katinka is crate trained and travels perfectly in the car, she just settles down and goes to sleep.
Katinka uses her crate (open door) as her safe space at home and is fine when left home alone, she has been left up to two hours.
Katinka is healthy, eats well and has no medical issues. She is good with all kinds of grooming and handling at home and loves having a good belly rub. Katinka can be a bit bouncy and enthusiastic in her greetings as she is still a young dog.
Katinka would make a lovely addition to the right family and, if you have room for two dogs, she would love to find a forever home with her best friend Timmy.
