Sydney is one of our UK rescues who is sadly looking for another home through no fault of his own. This poor boy has had the worst luck and needs a family who understands the breed!

Sydney is a typical bulldog! He is quite boisterous and quite energetic. He absolutely loves his walks, and his new home needs to be committed to give him a morning and afternoon or evening walk. He loves to explore on walks and chase around with the kids. He always walks amazingly well. Recall is still a work in progress so he uses a long lead to explore and enjoy his freedom.

Sydney LOVES water! Sea water, lakes, streams, puddles, any kind of water and Sydney is there running through and lapping it up!

Another well matched dog would be lovely for Sydney as he does enjoy playing with other dogs. Otherwise, he is fine living as a only dog with social walks and the opportunity to build relationships with other doggie friends.

Sydney has done well with his basic training and is very food driven. He enjoys a long lasting natural treat and things to mentally stimulate him.

Sydney is fully house trained, he will go to the back door and stand there till you let him out. He doesn't bark but always waits like a good boy and he has never had an accident.

Sydney is also crate trained and is happy to be left home alone for short periods of time up to 4hrs. He currently sleeps downstairs alone on the sofa with no issues. Sydney loves to rag his blankets in his crate and play tug .

He enjoys lots of fuss and attention and is good with all sorts of handling, such as belly rubs, cuddles, brushing, bathing, grooming, etc, and is fine when visiting the vet.
Sydney is a happy, healthy boy. He is neutered and all up to date with his vaccinations and flea, tick and worming treatment.

Sydney travels well in the car and is fine with thunderstorms and other loud noises.

This boy breaks my heart with the bad luck he has had and he really needs a forever family who won't give up on him,
