OTHER INFO: Maverick is a dog that Second Chance took responsibility for after his original rescue let him down. He was put into various unsuitable homes which left him scared and unable to cope so we stepped in to help him.
We decided that Maverick needed some time to calm down and learn before being put straight back into another home so he went to stay with Joy at CBRC, where he has been for a little while now.
Maverick has done really well during his time at CBRC and is a really lovely boy. He is good with other dogs and plays well with them. He is lead, muzzle and harness trained and walks well on the lead.
Maverick could live with another well matched dog, meet and greets would be at the CBRC in Devon with Joy.
Maverick would benefit from a home with Collie or GSD experience. He is a very clever boy, he has done well with his training, he listens and responds well to treat training.
Maverick will do really well in the right home.
