OTHER INFO: Timmy and Katinka are currently living together in the Blackpool area. They are a bonded pair and would love to find a home together if possible.
Otherwise, Timmy would be fine living with other dog/s or as an only dog with a family who were around most of the time.
Timmy was rescued in Romania and travelled to the UK unfortunately without rescue back up so we have agreed to take him into the Second Chance Family and find him a forever home.
Timmy was rescued after he was found living uncared for in someone's backyard in Romania.
Timmy lived with cats in rescue but he is not currently living with cats now.
Timmy and Katinka adore each other. They love to play together, run and chase each other. They love to play in the garden together throughout the day and go regularly to the local secure field which they enjoy but poor Timmy does struggle with walks and would need help to build his confidence in this area.
Timmy isn't all that interested in toys but he does enjoy a snuffle mat as his favourite enrichment activity.
Timmy is very food and treat driven and has responded well to positive reward training. Timmy is doing well learning cue words, he knows Sit, Down, Come (indoors) and Bed/ Place. Recall for Timmy is still a work in progress as he can get excited at times outside and forget to listen!
Timmy is house trained and will alert by going to the door and circling. He is also fully crate trained, he travels in the car in a crate and uses his crate (open door) as his safe space at home.
Timmy is fine when left home alone, he has been left up to two hours.
Timmy is healthy, eats well and has no medical issues. He is good with all kinds of handling at home and grooming, he loves a warm bath!
Timmy is a very loving and affectionate boy, he really enjoys cuddling up on the sofa.
Timmy would make a lovely addition to the right family and, if you have room for two dogs, he would love to find a forever home with his best friend Katinka.
