Maggi and Nancey are two of our lovely UK born and bred rescues. They are affectionate, friendly little French Bulldogs who have lived together since pups.

As a bonded pair they would love to find a lovely new home together as they have always been together.

Sadly their current owner is experiencing declining health and is no longer able to meet their needs. This is a very difficult and emotional decision for the family, as the girls are well-loved and have been cherished companions for many years.

Maggi (brown) is a sweet, slightly more sensitive girl. She has only one eye after her right eye was removed at 8 weeks old due to a genetic issue but this causes her no difficulties and she lives a completely normal, happy life. She is affectionate, cuddly and finds comfort and reassurance in her sister Nancey.

Nancey (black) is the more confident of the girls. She is a lovely, friendly and affectionate girl. They were both happy and excited to meet our assessor and settled quickly once they came in.

Both girls are good with all aspects of handling, such as belly rubs, cuddles, grooming, and vet trips.

Both dogs are bright and eager to please. Although they have not had a structured positive-reward training routine, they respond well to Come, Bed, and Wait and pick up new things very quickly.

Maggi and Nancey are friendly and excited when meeting new people and new dogs. Maggi can be a little unsure around much larger dogs, but she settles well with reassurance. Both girls travel well in the car and are not worried by fireworks or thunderstorms, although they do not like raised voices, especially little Maggi.

They are fully house trained and currently use an outside balcony for toileting at home, as they do not have access to a garden. A home with a secure garden would be lovely for them. They are crate trained and sleep overnight in their crate in the living room. Both girls are healthy with good appetites.

Our assessor described them as "lovely little dogs who would thrive in a calm, older, stable environment". They would suit a family looking for affectionate, friendly companions who enjoy a relaxed lifestyle with plenty of love and comfort.
