Oscar has been living in a home for the past two years but, through no fault of his own, has sadly found himself needing to find a new forever home.

Oscar's situation as to why he is in need of a new home is rather unique but his family will be happy to explain the details to successful applicants.

Oscar's family say that he is a wonderfully loyal and affectionate boy and making the decision to find him a new home has been heartbreaking but they know it's the right decision for Oscar.

Oscar currently lives in a family with children and another Second Chance dog who he gets on well with. Oscar would be happy to live with another dog but he can be a little submissive so he would like a well matched play mate to build a good bond with.

Oscar loves a good game of fetch in the garden, but he's just as happy snuggling up beside (or on!) you on the sofa.

Oscar adores being brushed and soaking up all the fuss and attention he can get. He also loves tummy rubs.

Oscar's favorite treats include buffalo rolls and yak bars, which he enjoys with great enthusiasm.

Oscar is comfortable being left alone at home for a few hours once he's settled into his new environment. He has never suffered from separation anxiety.

He is also a great travel companion, he rides well in the car and gets quite excited when he knows an adventure is coming! He walks well on a lead with his gentle leader style head collar.

Oscar is a healthy boy and he is up to date with his vaccinations, flea and worming treatments.
