Rosie is one of our original UK rescues who through no fault of her own is now sadly looking for a new forever home due to a relationship breakdown within her adoptive family.

At 3 years old, Rosie is a very beautiful 50kg Caucasian Shepherd with a lovely temperament and good nature.

She is medium energy for her breed but she enjoys her walks and exploring different places and environments. She is very well socialised and has experienced city life as well as more rural surroundings.

When introduced calmly and correctly, Rosie is good with other dogs on walks and at home she gets excited about meeting new people and saying hello to visitors.

Rosie is currently living as an only dog but has previously lived with 3 other large dogs including other Caucasian Shepherds. She has also lived with cats, she has always proved neutral around cats.

Rosie loves playing, especially tuggy games and playing with her teddies. She very much enjoys attention and treats which has made positive reward training very successful.

Rosie is cuddly and affectionate, she really enjoys being around her people, and has a particular soft spot for children. She has previously lived with young children.

As a large guardian breed, Rosie will of course need an experienced home that understands the needs of Caucasian Shepherds, including ongoing structure, appropriate management, and continued guidance to help her thrive.

Caucasian Shepherds are loyal, intelligent guardian breeds. They are naturally protective, deeply devoted to their family, and thrive in calm, structured environments.

They are generally not considered a first time dog breed as they need confident, experienced handling and owners who understand large guardian dogs. However, in the right home, they are incredibly loving, steady, and devoted companions.

Rosie would suit a calm, confident household that can provide space, stability, and calm, balanced leadership.

Rosie has always lived in a home environment and we are keen to ensure her next move is her true forever home.

Rosie is a happy, healthy, well balanced girl. She is up to date with her flea, tick and worming treatment (Feb 2026).
