ammy had a difficult start to life and was rescued as a young pup after being kept on a chain. He struggled in kennels due to his sensitive nature and made huge progress in his foster home. Sadly Sammy ended up back in kennels where he is waiting patiently to find his home.

Sammy is a loyal, affectionate and gentle boy who forms strong bonds with the people he trusts.

He enjoys going on walks, running freely in secure fields and playing chase and wrestling with other dogs. He has a funny and goofy side, especially when trying to catch a ball. He enjoys relaxing with a long lasting chew and he’s happy being brushed having his nails trimmed and being dried with a towel.

Sammy needs clear boundaries and a safe space in his home while he fully settles. He can be wary of people entering his home environment but with structured introductions made great process with visitors in his foster home.

He isn’t destructive, is house clean, sleeps well through the night and is fine being left on his own for short periods.

Sammy will thrive in a patient, confident and experienced home, in return he will offer deep loyalty affection and a truly special bond.
