Scooby is one of our UK rescues, and he's had a tough start in life. Sadly, he has already been in more than one home and previously experienced negative training methods.

Despite this, Scooby has remained a loving, friendly boy who is now searching for his true forever home.

Unfortunately, his current family's work commitments mean he is left for long hours, and therefore, cannot fully meet his needs.

Scooby is a happy, healthy boy! He is microchipped, fully vaccinated, flea & worm treated (booster due later this year).

Scooby is house trained and travels well in the car. He is also crate trained and sleeps happily in his crate at night with the door open.

Scooby is a bright, very intelligent and highly trainable boy, he responds well to positive reward based training and knows cue words such as Sit, Paw, Drop, Bed/Place, Come (indoors & garden).

Scooby LOVES balls!! He also enjoys squeaky toys, soft toys and enrichment activities such as treat balls, puzzles and snuffle mats.

Scooby gets on wonderfully with other dogs and would love to find a home with a well matched, young, playful doggy companion. As a young, energetic boy, Scooby will need to continue his lead training and have support with greeting other dogs and people as he can be enthusiastic initially!

Scooby would thrive with an active family who can take him on lovely walks and adventures. He can be left for short periods once settled, but he would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time and he can be a real part of the family.

Scooby is a very friendly and affectionate boy and although he might be a little anxious with new people at first due to his past, he has never shown aggression and he soon comes round.

Scooby can get excitable and jumpy when visitors arrive, so he does best when introduced calmly by waiting in his crate or behind a stair gate until he's settled and then he can come and say 'Hello!'.

Scooby is a loving, fun and intelligent dog who really deserves to find his happy ending.
