Public Shelter Urgent Situation

Members we have an urgent situation with one of the public shelters we support with food in Bosnia. 

Our rescuer has been today to take food etc and the place is overrun. 

There are currently 70-100 ADULT dogs and approx 30/40 puppies some just days old! The wooden kennels are literally full with babies. 

We have identified some dogs that are struggling in there and urgently need out either due to being pregnant or injured or simply just smaller dogs that will struggle. 

Our rescuer has also told us they have at least 7 females due to give birth in there as well. 

The reality is a lot of these new borns and vulunable dogs won’t survive!

So we need to pledge to help these dogs - our rescuer has space for 9 dogs at the moment. This means if we raise the funds we will be able to take 9 dogs out of the shelter asap. 

We also want to start to spay the adults in the shelter so the numbers don’t start multiplying - these places are very dangerous for females in heat with males literally fighting for them!
