Second Chance Dog Rescue

Harris's rescue was probably the worse case of starvation we have even had a dog recover from, he was on the brink of death and amazingly against all odds he fully recovered. He travelled to his UK foster home in Feb and as much as his foster absolutely fell in love with him, sadly they are struggling with his prey drive when the cats run so he is now available for adoption.

Harris is such an amazing boy and adapted really well to his new home environment! He is so affectionate and loving and really does enjoy cuddles and attention from humans He has accepted visitors coming into the home and loves the extra fuss He sleeps through the night and can be left alone for a couple of hours.

Harris is a social boy and enjoys being with other dogs. He loves his long walks and chasing around a secure field too. He is a social boy and likes saying hello to dogs on walks but he can be a little timid if they are full on to start with.

We do ask that due to the extreme starvation he faced when rescued that he is fed and has treats separately from any other dogs he may live with as a precaution.

Harris is an intelligent boy, loves his toys and the comfort of his bed or sofa. He is such a friendly loving boy and so so loyal. Whoever adopts this boy and gives him his forever home will be extremely lucky.
