Second Chance Dog Rescue

Hero was saved in Bosnia when he was found by the side of a forest and road looking after a litter of very young pups He was skin and bone bless him but had kept those pups safe.

Hero sadly needed a little longer in Bosnia before travelling as he had happy tail syndrome, he kept whacking his tail on the kennel walls and had to have the tip amputated This took a while to heal as he kept doing it but it's now fully healed and he is ready to travel and find a home of his own.

Hero is such a lovely boy. He is very active and gets very excited when it's time to go on walks. He is a typical hound, loves to use his nose sniffing and can get excited and pull a bit on his lead but generally he walks very well.

Hero is a social boy with people and dogs alike. He was so gentle with the pups he was rescued with and has had no issues with other dogs in the shelter.

He is affectionate and has been so good with having his tail bandages changed etc, he is a lovely friendly boy and enjoys fuss and attention He is fairly confident and adapts well.

Hero would suit a family who was fairly active and had a nice garden for him. He would enjoy nice walks and lots of fuss.

We really would love to bring him to the UK so he doesn't spend winter in the shelter The pups are all in homes in the UK and now it's their hero's turn.
